I Cor. 8:1-13

Mark 1:21-28—The Gospel Reading for the day

21 And they went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath he entered the synagogue and was teaching. 22 And they were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes. 23 And immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, 24 “What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God.” 25 But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!” 26 And the unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying out with a loud voice, came out of him. 27 And they were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? A new teaching with authority! He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him.” 28 And at once his fame spread everywhere throughout all the surrounding region of Galilee.

90 Years of Blessings: Last Sunday Pastor opened the birthday party for Trinity's 90th anniversary with a prayer-and then the party began! Many ingenious and tasty birthday cakes were enjoyed with beautiful decorating on the tables to match. Over 40 attended and all had a really great time with the fellowship and exciting games. This was the kick off for events that will continue thru out the year. The "90 Years of Blessings" will conclude on Sunday, November 18th, so keep watching for other events. Many thanks to all who attended and helped to make this event a very special day.

This Mission Grant is called Current Missionary Need and is otherwise known as Mission Central, located in Mapleton, Iowa, which is where a number of Trinity members traveled to last July. To God be the glory!!

MISSIONARY VISIT: Please mark your calendars for Tuesday, March 6 at 11:00 am to hear Missionaries James and Christel Neuendorf from the Dominican Republic.

VISITORS

We are so glad you joined us today. We do collect offerings during our worship services. While we believe this is a chance for each believer to be a good steward of the gifts they have received form God, you are welcome but not expected to give an offering while you are our guest. If you would like to learn more about the Lord’s ministry here at Trinity please call Pastor Rutz. He would love to get acquainted and visit at a time that is convenient for you.
