  • The LWML National Convention will be held June 25, 26, 27 and 28 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines. 
  • The LWML Southwest Spring Rally is planned for Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Our Savior LCMS, Leon. Registration will begin at 9:00 am and the cost is $8.00. The Ingathering is bars of soap. Come and learn about what God is doing in Sudan. This Lutheran Heritage Foundation program focuses on the birth of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sudan/South Sudan and its need for pastors to shepherd the people.

  • LERT (Lutheran Early Response Team) Training – Sunday, April 19 Iowa District West is forming LERT teams to respond to disasters. It is exciting that over 500 members of the District have now taken the LERT training and are certified to serve and respond after a natural disaster. You are invited to attend an upcoming LERT training. There is NO COST for the training. Volunteers will receive a LERT manual. Where: Our Savior Lutheran Church, 500 North 24th Street, Denison, IA When: Sunday, April 19, 2015 Registration and lunch begin at 12 pm with training 12:30-3:30 pm.
