The Baptism of Jesus
13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to John, to be baptized by him. 14 John would have prevented him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” 15 But Jesus answered him, “Let it be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he consented. 16 And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him,[a] and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; 17 and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son,[b] with whom I am well pleased.”

LIFE TOGETHER
VISITORS: We are so glad you joined us today. We do collect offerings during our worship services. While we
believe this is a chance for each believer to be a good steward of the gifts they have received from God, you are welcome but not expected to give an offering while you are our guest. If you would like to learn more about the Lord’s ministry here at Trinity please call Pastor Rutz.
He would love to get acquainted and visit at a time that is convenient for you. You are also invited to join members in the fellowship hall after the 9:00 service or prior to the 11:00 service for a time of fellowship.
Attendance Cards: Visitors and members are asked to fill out an attendance card and to list names of each family member in attendance. Turn in your card at the back of the church at the end of the service.
On Sundays when there is Holy Communion please list the names of those who will be communing on the Holy Communion registration side of the card.
If you have moved or your phone number or email address have changed, please note any changes on the attendance card so that we can update our records in the office.
Weekly bulletins, announcements, and sermons continue to be available on the church website.
Offerings: Offering are gathered in the back of the church and will be brought forward during the offertory.
Children’s Bulletins to go along with today’s Sunday of the Church Year are available in a basket by the back pew (Creston).
Check out our Library! Our library is located in the fellowship hall along the south wall. Lots of items that you can take as well as items and resources you can check out. Lots of good information! Some resources available in the fellowship hall at Mt. Ayr, too!

Preschool Endowment Fund
We thank everyone who has helped to establish the Preschool Endowment Fund.
By the grace of God, members of Trinity have given the Preschool Endowment Fund over $18,000 in the first year. This is remarkable! It demonstrates your zeal to support the long-range goals of our Preschool.
Some members of Trinity are making regular gifts to the Preschool Endowment Fund. Consider a weekly or monthly gift of any amount which will, over time, amount to a substantial gift.
Others have made plans for a legacy gift to the Preschool Endowment Fund at a later time. There will be an opportunity early next year (2023) to attend a seminar at Trinity about estate planning. We encourage you to attend.
The Preschool Endowment Fund is needed to ensure the long-range viability of our mission to share the gospel with the little ones and their families in our community.
Our short-term goal is to be able to provide tuition assistance for low-income families.
Our long-term goal is to be able to provide quality preschool for all of our students.
The Preschool Board has set a five-year goal of $50,000 in gifts to the Preschool Endowment Fund.
For further information contact either Bill Magers or Mike Lang.
