Ayr.   All are welcome to attend this study at either location.

Naomi Circle will meet at 1:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.   Our topic will be “Celebrate God’s Love” found on page 20 in the Fall Quarterly.  Please come for Bible Study and fellowship.

Lifelight  will not be meeting this week due to the fellowship hall being used for the bloodmobile on Monday and for voting on Tuesday.    It will resume next week for the last lesson of this session.

Invitation:  You are invited to the installation service for Rhonda Mohr, who will be installed as the Iowa District West Executive Assistant for Education, Youth, and Family Life on Sunday, November 13, 2016 at 2pm at Zion Lutheran Church , 1204 Center Street, Manning, Iowa.

Some changes to Trinity’s constitution and bylaws were approved at the October 30 voter’s meeting.

A copy with all the updates has been added to Trinity’s website.   If you wish to look it up, go to    In the center of the screen, right above the Lutheran Radio emblem, you will see the words Important Documents Page.

Click on that and it will take you to the 10-30-16 updated constitution and bylaws.     If you would like to have a paper copy of this booklet,  contact the office to request one.

Pastor’s Book of the Month for November

This is a book that Pastor has been reading and would recommend it.   It’s a great read for teens and adults.

You’ve been reading about the Iowa Lutheran School Tuition Organization. This giving opportunity isn’t just for Lutherans – anyone who pays Iowa state income tax can donate and receive the tax benefits.  Please help spread the word to someone you know who would like to assist students in Lutheran education while receiving a great tax benefit of a 65% tax credit on their Iowa state tax and possible federal tax deductions.   For further information, please contact Dewey Torkelson at 712-260-2991. Join us at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fort Dodge on Sunday, November 13, 5-7pm for a free evening of food, networking and hearing about how God’s people in Iowa District West are moving into the local mission field!  Included in the evening will be the announcement of the 2017 mission grant recipients.  Go to to register!

The Creston Lighted Christmas Parade will be on Thursday, December 1 at 7:00 pm.  We will be having an entry which includes a lighted nativity scene.   We need many walkers to help pass out candy and information about Trinity.   If you are able to help with this please meet by the sale barn at 6:30 with no special arranging.

On Saturday, December 3, there will also be a Lighted Christmas Parade in Mt. Ayr.  That parade starts at 6:00 pm with the meeting place by the depot at 5:30.  Walkers are encouraged for this parade also.   The Mission Board hopes to see a large participation for these parades.
