Mercy

Building Healthy Families: Worry. Stress. Anxiety. Each of these pull at the corner of our mind until we begin to doubt the promises of God. When you find yourself fretting, stop - and remember God’s Living Word, written for you: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your heart and mind as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7) Lutheran Family Service of Iowa (515) 251-4900.

Thanks to Devon Peterson for building the new play platforms in the preschool playground. A job well done for his Eagle Scout.

There will be a special election on September 30 in the sanctuary immediately following the worship service. The congregation will nominate one layperson as possible delegate to the national convention to be submitted to the circuit counselor by October 5.

This meeting is for all present members and all who may be interested in learning about the work of this committee.
