Building Healthy Families: Love is in the air! The buildup to one of the most expensive holidays begins with Valentine's Day retail spending expected to reach a record $18.9 billion this year. As you find ways to share and celebrate your love with family members and your special someone on Valentin's Day, take some time to reflect on the gift given to you from God your Father. Though it came at a great cost to Jesus, it comes without cost to you: For the wages of sin is

death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Now that is true love. Lutheran Family Services( 515) 251-4900

Members of Trinity. It is our great privilege to pray for people you know in the community, part of our role as a "Kingdom of Priests". Please email the church office if you have added someone to the prayer list or have an update on a person on the list. We would like to keep better track of where the requests have come from so we can follow up. Thanks. Pastor.

Pastor Watt is still looking for information on the following people on the prayer list. Suffering from Cancer: Al Davis; Cheryl Harper; Dale Kirk; Gary McCraken; Grace Weese;  Mike Rollings; Pam Koring; Randy Nemitz;   Please drop a note in pastor's mailbox or send and email

The Lc Clinic and Mission Board would like to thank everyone for their tremendous response to the Diaper Drive during the month of January. It was a real pleasure to have Trinity and other area churches be a part of such an important request. Thanks again to all who contributed.

LifeLight Bible Study will begin Monday, Feb 8 at 6:30p.m. and Tuesday, Feb 9 at 1:00 p.m. We will begin study of the book of Romans, Part One. In 1552 Dr. Luther wrote this about the book of Romans: “This Epistle is really the chief part of the New Testament and the very purest Gospel, …. It can never be read or pondered too much, and the more it is dealt with the more precious it becomes, and the better it tastes.”
