Food for children in Haiti. Many of you have sponsored a child in Haiti and pay $250/year for their yearly school expenses. Now that school is out, the children do not receive a meal at school. I am told that in most cases the people in Haiti get three meals per week. (Not day, but week) Please consider doing a bake sale/ fundraiser to raise money for food for the children. If you wish you can give a personal donation. Make check to ETCH with food on the memo line and mail to me: Ellie Menz 807 W. South Jefferson, IA 50129 This is an urgent and immediate need. Hunger is daily.
Tornadoes have once again devastated towns in Texas, South Dakota, and Iowa. Included in the destruction is our sister church, Zion Lutheran Church & Parsonage in Delmont, South Dakota. To support LCMS tornado-relief efforts, make a gift online at https://lcms.org/givenow/tornado
