A BIRTHDAY PARTY:  Everyone is invited to attend a birthday party for Bertha Jensen's 98th birthday on Tuesday, April 11th at 3:00 pm in the activity room of the Crest Haven Care Centre, 1000 E. Howard Street.  She would prefer no gifts-just come out to celebrate her many years of God's blessings on her life and have a piece of cake and ice cream.  If anyone has any questions contact Dave or Maggie Dory.  

BABY SHOWER:  A baby shower will be held on Sunday May 7 at 1pm, in the fellowship hall (CR) for Kayla (Davidson) Brown.

“Oh, The Places You’ll Go” (or have been): Sunday May 7 right after Divine Service in Creston

The Board of Education will recognize 5 high school graduates on this day (Alex Brown, Devon Peterson, Cali Foglesong, Kessler Tomas, and Allison Hadley).  Because we’ve been a little lax in recognizing some past college graduates, we’re also going to try and have a reunion of sorts for past (or current) members who have graduated from college within the past 10 years or so.  We’d like to know where our younger members are these days.  We’d love to invite any young people to attend but if they can’t we’d like to get a little bio from them and put together a bulletin insert for the day.  If you have any questions, please contact Julie Lang. 

MISSIONS

A BIG THANK YOU to all who attended the potluck/game night last Sunday evening and for bringing all the wonderful food!  There were 7 guests that came from SWCC.  Everyone had plenty to eat and the rest of the evening was spent with devotion, fellowship and a whole lot of fun with games.  We thank God that we had this opportunity to share time with these students and we're praying that we'll  develop a much deeper relationship with them.  From the Mission Board.

TRINITY PRESCHOOL is now registering students for the 2017-2018 school year.   If you know any families who have preschool age children and are looking for a preschool  please tell them about Trinity.  Invite them to contact the preschool teachers, Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Cook, for more information.  The preschool  phone number is 782-5095 Ext. 2

USED PORTALS OF PRAYERS are needed for free distribution at the Iowa State Fair. The Lutheran Laymen’s League distributes used Portals of Prayers every year at the Iowa State Fair.  They are able to give away as many as they can get. Bring your old Portals of Prayer to Trinity, Creston and place them in the box under the mail boxes. These will be used to share the Gospel.
