Life Together

During the vacancy, the deadline for announcements for Sundays will be on Wednesdays at noon. This allows us time to prepare the service and to be able to deliver the bulletins to Mt. Ayr earlier in the week.

Until someone sets up computer accounts for Linda Hadley/office assistant, if you need to send an email to the church, please continue to send them to

cisdahl@trinitycreston.org

A bridal shower for Kayla Davidson will be held on April 3 at 1:00 pm in the fellowship hall. All ladies of Trinity are invited to the shower. Kayla and fiancé Nathan Brown are registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Target.

On Thursday, April 14, 2016, at 6:30 pm, there will be a Congregational Meeting with District President Rev. Turner. This is a Pastor pre-call meeting to discuss and answer your questions prior to the church receiving a call list.

Today is my last Sunday here as I am relocating back to California to help my son with his 4 year old daughter. It has been a privilege to work in the office for the last year. Linda Hadley is taking over and is doing a wonderful job in her training. She will do a great for you at Trinity. My address will be: Cindy Isdahl , 7481 Sly Park Rd. Placerville, CA 56667

The fundraiser that we'll be having for the Life Care Clinic is set for Saturday, April 23rd here at Trinity in the fellowship hall. Hours are 10-2 with a light lunch from 11:00 - 12:30. This will be a free will offering. A silent auction from 10-2 will consist of baked items and theme baskets, which we would encourage all of you to be a part of. Examples of some of the themes could be: garden/yard; fishing; fitness; scrapbook; camping; sewing; beauty; wine; Christian; grilling; kids; sports. The dollar amount for items to put into the baskets is $20.00-$25.00. We would encourage our members to take this back to your co-workers and get them excited about sponsoring a basket. There are many other themes that could be considered. Let's make this a really fun event with lots of baskets. Other churches will be involved too. David Paul Britton will be with us during this event to grace us with his beautiful Christian music and share the love of Jesus. Mr. Britton will be with us on Sunday, the 24th to provide music during the service as well. If there are any questions please talk to any member of the Mission Board. The monies taken in will go to the Lc Clinic general fund.

There is a sign up sheet on the table in the narthex regarding the Lc Clinic fundraiser on Saturday, April 23rd. There is a need for people to help serve the light lunch and to help keep the kitchen area and fellowship hall picked up during this event which is from 10-2. One doesn't have to commit to the full 4 hours. We hope you are still thinking of a theme basket to put together. So far we have a beauty basket, kitchen basket and wine basket. We also need baked items to sell and bars/cookies to be a part of the free will offering lunch. We are hoping this will be a really fun event and raise money and awareness for the Life Care Clinic. Any and all help would be very much appreciated. If there are any questions please feel free to contact any member of the Mission Board.

The large LWML mite box will be setting out in the back of the sanctuary the whole month of March.

On behalf of the Life Care Clinic and the LWML thank you for your tremendous response to the recent request for Baby Bundles. This will be an ongoing mission for us so if at any time you run across any of the bundle items you might keep this in mind and pick some up. Right now we have several onesies, receiving blankets and booties/socks. The biggest item that is in short supply are the sleepers. Thank you all again for stepping up and helping out the families at the Life Care Clinic. The love of God is revealed in every act of kindness.
