What is a Lutheran?: Classes will begin April 2 at 6 PM for all those interested in learning about the Christian faith. The class will be approximately 1 1/4 hours in length. Childcare will be provided. This is a good opportunity for you to refresh what you learned in confirmation classes. The class will meet for about 10 sessions. LUTHERAN FAMILY SERVICE OF IOWA SEEKS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Lutheran Family Service of Iowa is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization’s statewide mission. LFS is a 112 year old ministry of the LCMS congregations in Iowa. The person selected to fill this leadership position will have a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, a proven ability to lead, a minimum of 5 years experience in administration, not-for-profit administration preferred, and will be a member in good standing of a Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod congregation. Visitation and funeral for Al Schroeder who passed on Wednesday. Visitation will be held at Powers Funeral Home Tuesday March 12, 2013 from 2 PM - 7 PM. The funeral will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 10:30 AM with a dinner following at 11:30 AM.

Naomi Circle will meet Wednesday March 13, 2013 at 1:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Our topic will be “A Chosen People, a Royal Priesthood, a Holy Nation” found on page 18 of the Winter Quarterly. You are always welcome to join us for Bible Study and fellowship.
