Thank You: A thank you to the members of Trinity from Martin Herzberg and family is posted on the bulletin board outside the office.

Adult Bible Class will not meet today due to the Voter’s Meeting.

Adult Bible Class will resume on Sunday, July 31.

We will begin a new video series with Dr. Paul L. Maier

Christianity and the Competition

Dr. Maier compares Christianity and the claims of

other world religions. He demonstrates how all the

others fall short.

Join us for this exciting and informative series.

A call meeting was held on Sunday, July 10. Pastor John Rutz, our current vacancy pastor, has been extended a call to be our pastor at Trinity. We pray for Pastor Rutz, his wife, and three children as he prayerfully considers this call. May God’s will be done in Creston and Mt. Ayr as well as in his current congregations in Oakland and Hastings.

Ragbrai: A group of Lutheran bicyclists from Iowa will be staying overnight in the Creston fellowship hall tomorrow night, Monday, July 25. Some other groups will be using the parking lots and one small group will be sleeping in the parsonage.

Dates for August Calendar

If there are any meetings, activities, etc. that need to be added to the August calendar, please let

Linda know by noon on Wednesday, July 27 so that they can be included. Thank you.

Website Calendar: We are having troubles with the computer program that puts the calendars on the website. If you need to make a reservation to use the fellowship hall please contact Mike Lang. If you have meetings that need to be added to the regular church calendar please give those dates to Linda in the office. Until we can get the computer program repaired do not rely on the website for all dates. We will do our best to get paper copies of monthly calendars printed with accurate events and times. Also, be sure to check for updates on the weekly announcement sheets. If you are a chairman of a committee, your help in announcing dates/times is appreciated.

Mark Sunday, September 25 on your calendar for an afternoon of miniature golf. The Mt. Ayr members invite the Creston members to join them at 3:00 for fun and fellowship. It will be located at 2572 210th St., Afton. More details will be shared closer to that date.
