John 8:31-36

The Truth Will Set You Free

31 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” 33 They answered him, “We are offspring of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?”

34 Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who practices sin is a slave to sin. 35 The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

If you would like to learn more about the Lord’s ministry here at Trinity please call Pastor Rutz. He would love to get acquainted and visit at a time that is convenient for you.

NEXT SUNDAY, November 4th is the date we need to have the cards returned and placed in a box on the table in the narthex so that food can be ordered for the meal. From the "90 Years of Blessings" Committee

Attention All Members! Deb Melzer answered our request to take informal pictures at the Creston location for our 90th anniversary booklet. She would like to take most after church services, but will make arrangements for shut ins . She would like families that can't get the whole family together because being off to school or other reasons, please have info about that person/persons available to her. She will be starting in the next week. Thank you for your cooperation. "The 90 Years of Blessings" Anniversary Committee.

Camp Okoboji: Are you or a group of friends needing some time to bask in the beautiful fall atmosphere God has given us? Camp Okoboji is wanting to have you be our guest for one, two or as many nights as you would like. During your stay with us we will provide lodging and meals at no cost. When you wake in the morning you can walk the grounds to meditate with our Lord. Join in group bible study at 9:30 in The Refuge. During the day join with others to help camp make the most of our resources. We will be salvaging from the Hauck building the items we can use for future projects. Enjoy a pleasant supper and an evening of fellowship as we gather around a campfire to share with each other how our day was truly blessed. THANK YOU for your help in beautifying the surroundings that God has so graciously made available to us. Call 712-337-3325 and talk with Kellie to reserve your time with us. If you aren’t not able to stay with us please add us in your prayers as we continue to Build in God’s Faith.
