Building Healthy Families: It is hard to believe, but today is the first day of spring! The dawning of spring has always signified new life in nature. Are your tulips sprouting yet? Have the robins returned? As believers in Christ, we understand the idea of “new life.” Having been baptized with Christ into His death for our sins, we have become a new creation through the work of the Holy Spirit. Take time today to reflect on your baptism and the significance of being that new creation in Christ. Lutheran Family Service of Iowa (515) 251-4900

Life Thoughts for the Church Year. Faith in God’s love for us through Christ brings eternal life (John 3:16). Faith in God’s love for us through Christ brings strength and help for living this life. God will not abandon those for whom He paid such a holy price. This is our hope as we deal with life’s struggles and pains. God’s love is certain no matter what! You can believe it!
