Mercy

Building Healthy Families: Are you ever tempted to dwell on the thought that some people are more gifted (or talented, or beautiful, or smart, or athletic…) than you are? Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” Stop comparing yourself critically to others and think instead about who you are, because of Whose you are! “But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God…” (John 1:12) Lutheran Family Service of Iowa

“God does not require mothers and fathers to sacrifice their children so that others might live well or fear less. God made the sacrifice for us. The cross of Jesus Christ is the reminder of amazing grace on pitifully desperate people. The cross tells us that no one else—not even a ‘fetus’ (Latin: young one)—needs to be sacrificed.” Linda Bartlett, www.titus2-4life.org – A “Life Quote” from Lutherans For Life · www.lutheransforlife.org

Trinity Remembered in Prayer

Dear Brothers and Sisters at Trinity,

“Prayers for your ministry were offered to the Lord by our Congregation on Sunday. We prayed that God would bless you in all you do to serve Him. May each of you let His light shine every minute of everyday. He has a plan and it includes each of you.”

Philippians 1:3-4
