HUSH deer distribution has started up again. Please spread the word to stop by the First Presbyterian Church Thursday’s from 4-6pm. No eligibility requirements, just sign your name & give the number of people in your household. Last year more than 16 thousand pounds were given out to the needy of SW Iowa. So far in the past seven weeks more than six thousand pounds has been distributed.

Report from The Christian Care Committee: More Funds are Needed! As of January 18, 2 requests have been approved and 2 families helped; $200 was given to help with groceries and $500 given to a family to help with transportation and lodging to visit a sick family member. The Christian Care Fund receives donations from the congregation at any time. There are envelopes on the narthex table. Use either the "Thanksgiving" envelopes or the "Designated Offering" (write "Christian Care Fund" ) Don't forget to write your envelope number on them.
