Connect Children with God’s Eternal Good News at VBS: Every child needs to hear the Good News that Jesus their Savior calls us, keeps us safe, saves us, and provides all we need by His amazing grace through faith. At Gangway to Galilee VBS, you will connect children with the most important message of their lifetime: the miraculous story of what Jesus did for us what we could never do for ourselves. If you can help full or part time, we have many ways to be involved to suite your schedule and interests. Talk with Julie Lang, Hannah Shady, or Megan Shutt.

ng good we have is from God. He loves to give. He loves to bless. He loves to show us generosity time and again – and He desires that we grow into His image, and reflect His love.

Witness

CROSS DEFENSE --- on your Lutheran Radio Station Worldwide KFUO. Join us as we talk with guest Craig Parton about his book Religion On Trial --- Many today would agree that beneath their clashing claims, most world religions hold similar stances across the whole of their shared purview. Parton, an experienced trial lawyer, seeks to debunk this concept by clearing away subjective hearsay from tangible fact, drawing the reader's attention to just how different various religions are in their approaches to humanity, salvation, evil, and even truth. Listen this Monday @ 2:00-3:00pm CT. Find us at kfuo.org and follow us at Facebook.com/KFUOradio.

Vacation Bible School is scheduled for our Creston location July 13-17 and for our Mount Ayr location July 20-24. Go to TrinityCreston.org/vbs to sign up to volunteer or register a student.

Building Healthy Families: Arguments happen in all families. Cruelty does not. Pay attention this week to the words you use and the motivation behind those words as you deal with conflict in your marriage and family. Remember that healthy couples and families view each other as teammates, not adversaries. Two key points from Scripture are helpful: “Speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ.” (Ephesians 4:15) Be honest and direct instead of avoiding conflict. Speak to each other with respect and love, even when you are angry. The combination of these two – truth and love – can accomplish much.
