Life Together

A test run for using the electronics for a voter's meeting between our two locations has been set for May 5 at 7pm. We need as many people as possible at both locations to make the test. Please come if you are able. Questions talk to Pastor Watt.

Graduation recognition will be Sunday May 17. If you know of college graduates, please let Julie Lang know. There will be no Sunday school or Adult Bible Classes.

Witness

The LWML National Convention will be held June 25, 26, 27 and 28 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.

There will be no Sunday School or Adult Bible classes at Creston on May 3 and May 17 for confirmation and graduation receptions.

Mercy

DISASTER UPDATE: As the reports of the mounting injuries, death and destruction pour out of Nepal, LCMS Disaster Response and the LCMS Office of International Mission are working to make connections and learn how we best can bear Christ's mercy in the midst of this tragedy. We have made an initial grant of $25,000 to Lutheran World Lutheran World Relief to assist with their response. Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy. Please mark your calendars for Sunday, May 31 to remind you that James and Christel Neuendorf will be with us to hear about their missionary work in the Dominican Republic, who we are currently sponsoring. They will have a presentation during the Bible Class hour at 11:00 and afterwards we will have a potluck with an ice cream social!
