Building Healthy Families: Do you ever feel like your children don’t listen when you ask them to do something? Research on families reveals that children receive over 2000 requests for compliance each day. If that is true, doesn’t it make sense that kids tune parents out? Listen to your family’s interactions from your child’s point of view, and adjust if necessary. Lutheran Family Service of Iowa (515) 251-4900

Christian Care: Trinity has established a Christian Care fund to help people in our communities who are in need. Our Thanksgiving offering will be used to fund this account (use your Thanksgiving envelope). You may also give to the fund at any time simply use one of the Christian Care Fund envelopes on the narthex table. Any member of Trinity may request a gift for anyone in need. Find forms for requests on the Narthex table.

Fresh deer meat in 2 lb. pkgs will be available for anyone. Every Thursday beginning December 6, 4-6 pm at the First Presbyterian Church (Sponsored by FPC Deacon’s).

Life Quote: “Our futures are unknown to us (thankfully), but they are not unknown to God. He is all-knowing; He is sovereign. God, through Christ, experienced the supreme suffering in human form when He took it upon Himself to accept the sin of us all through His death on the cross. Because He knows what it’s like to suffer, He can empathize with us in our suffering. Not only can He empathize with us, but God promises to one day relieve us of our suffering.” Beth Schaible, former Lutherans For Life national board member – A “Life Quote” from Lutherans For Life · www.lutheransforlife.org

Please remember to bring a few items for the Creston food bank next week. The mission board has designate the third Sunday of every month as 'Caring for Your Neighbor' Sunday.
