Stewardship: Matthew 1:20 “But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, 'Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife. . . '” Fear often stops us from living our lives the way God would have us live them. Perhaps that is most true when it comes to stewardship – we fear that we won't have enough if we are generous to the Lord's work. What stops our fear? The Word of God: His promises to care for us. That's what ended Joseph's fear: a Word from God. And we likewise have a promise and a Word from God that we can count on.
