Volunteers needed to hang church information on neighborhood doors. Sunday afternoon November 20, at 2pm we'll canvas an area of town to distribute information about our church. Following the distribution we'll have fellowship with delicious deserts. Help is also needed to stuff the door hangers. Meet in the classroom at the back of the sanctuary on Wednesday November 16 at 6:30pm.

LWML Mites!: Please celebrate with us the work of God through Lutheran Women in Mission. All this month the Mighty Mite box will be in the back of the church. Help with the work of spreading the Gospel of Jesus to all nations.

Mercy

Building Healthy Families: Men and women in the military sacrifice a lot that many of us take for granted, including day-to-day activities with families, and special occasions like the birth of a first child or a wedding anniversary. Pray for them and their families this week. Reach out to them to let them know they are cared for, especially during times of separation. Lutheran Family Service of Iowa (515) 251-4900

“The Church is called to stand up for the ALL of God’s children, from the unborn to the underprivileged … The sanctity of human life is intrinsically possessed for it is God’s creation.” Rev. Kevin Kritzer, Bethany Lutheran Church, Long Beach, California – A “Life Quote” from Lutherans For Life – www.lutheransforlife.org

Christian Care: Trinity has established a Christian Care fund to help people in our communities who are in need. Our Thanksgiving offering will be used to fund this account (use your Thanksgiving envelope). You may also give to the fund at any time simply use one of the Christian Care Fund envelopes on the narthex table. Any member of Trinity may request a gift for anyone in need. Find forms for requests on the Narthex table.
