I thank everyone who has offered prayers and condolences for my sister, Lorma Lang, and her family.
I sincerely appreciate all the prayers, cards and expressions of concern that have been extended to me following her death.

Building Healthy Families
In many families, mothers read aloud with their young children. Father, how about you? What a gift you give your children by reading with them! Let them pick the book, or chose one that you enjoyed as a child. C.S. Lewis’ The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe would be a good choice, also creating the opportunity to share your faith with your children as you talk with them about the themes of the story. Happy reading!

Life Quote
April 27
“‘As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him’ (Psalm 103:13). His love for us moved Him to sacrifice His Son on the cross that we might receive forgiveness and everlasting life through faith. There is no greater love. His love is the source of our love. ‘We love because he first loved us’ (1 John 4:19).” Daily Devotions email, Redeemer Lutheran Church, Sister Lakes, Michigan
