Building Healthy Families: Love is in the air! The buildup to one of the most expensive holidays begins with Valentine's Day retail spending expected to reach a record $18.9 billion this year. As you find ways to share and celebrate your love with family members and your special someone on Valentin's Day, take some time to reflect on the gift given to you from God your Father. Though it came at a great cost to Jesus, it comes without cost to you: For the wages of sin is

death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Now that is true love. Lutheran Family Services( 515) 251-4900

Please email the church office if you have added someone to the prayer list or have an update on a person on the list. We would like to keep better track of where the requests have come from so we can follow up. Thanks. Pastor. pastor@trinitycreston.org

LifeLight Bible Study will begin Monday, Feb 8 at 6:30p.m. and Tuesday, Feb 9 at 1:00 p.m. We will begin study of the book of Romans, Part One. In 1552 Dr. Luther wrote this about the book of Romans: “This Epistle is really the chief part of the New Testament and the very purest Gospel, …. It can never be read or pondered too much, and the more it is dealt with the more precious it becomes, and the better it tastes.”
