LWML Fall Rally at Trinity, Shenandoah, IA on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Registration begins at 9:00 am. The cost is $6.00. Karon Killion will present the program "In The Steps of Luther" . The Ingathering project is 1 towel, 1 washcloth and a bar of soap to be given to the Orphan Grain Train. Thanks, Maggie

The Annual Altar Committee will meet Oct 27 at 7:30 pm. Anyone interested in serving on the Altar Committee is welcome to attend. No commitment is required.

The Annual Voter's Meeting will be October 25 at 12pm in the Fellowship Hall. We will elect officers and approve the 2016 Budget. There will be a light lunch served just before the Voter's Meeting on October 25th. We hope you will all plan to attend.

Thrivent Union County Chapter annual meeting will be held today, October 18 at 12:00pm at Salem Lutheran Church. Please RSVP to Becky Hagen at 641-782-2442.

Visitors: We do collect offerings during our worship services. While we believe this is a chance for each believer to be a good steward of the gifts they have received from God, we do not expect you to give an offering while you are our guest.

There will be a bridal shower today, October 18, at 2:00 pm here at Trinity for Miciah Watt. Everyone is invited to share in this celebration.

Preschool Harvest Celebration on Sunday, October 25th @ 6:30 p.m.

The LCMS Rural and Small Town Ministry national conference will be held in Kansas City, November 5-7, 2015. Pastor Watt will be making a presentation on "Congregational Mergers". Join Early Risers for Bible reading and discussion 6:30am every Tuesday morning now meeting in the fellowship hall. Breakfast now being served.

Make Plans to Attend the Circuit Reformation Service that will be held 4:00pm Sunday October 25 at St. Paul, Clarinda. The guest preacher will be Rev. Michael Kumm of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Dakota Dunes, SD. Those wishing to participate in the choir are asked to show up an hour earlier (at 3:00 pm) for practice. A hearty soup supper will be served following the service as a fundraiser for youth who will be attending next summer’s Higher Things Conference.

Christian Care: Trinity has established a Christian Care fund to help people in our communities who are in need. Our Thanksgiving offering will be used to fund this account (use your Thanksgiving envelope). You may also give to the fund at any time simply use one of the Christian Care Fund envelopes on the narthex table. Any member of Trinity may request a gift for anyone in need.
