Building Healthy Families: Life can be hard, and relationships can cause pain. When someone hurts you, you may find that it is difficult to trust again. God does not abandon you in this pain, but promises to stay with you. Through all of the challenges in your life, God’s promise remains sure: “I will never leave you, I will never forsake you” (Hebrews 13). LFS counselors are here to help with troubled relationships and the pain they leave behind. Lutheran Family Service of Iowa (515) 251-4900
Life Quote: “It is no good referring to a child as ‘an embryo’ or ‘a fetus.’ It is still a child and its abortion is still murder. We are told that we must be ‘pro-choice’ (another disguised name), but what is this choice: to murder or not to murder? … In reality, there is only one choice. It is not ‘pro-life’ or ‘pro-choice,’ it is pro-life or anti-life.” Archpriest Andrew Phillips, Russian Orthodox Church, Colchester, England – A “Life Quote” from Lutherans For Life · www.lutheransforlife.org
