Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to put the July 4th parade together.

Congratulations to Trinity Lutheran Church for taking 3rd place in the 4th of July parade in the Novelty Division.

Please remember to tell Pastor Watt (email works best) if you are planning to provide flowers for the altar, even if you have written it on the altar flower calendar on the narthex table. Thanks Pastor Watt.

A reminder! If you give pastor Watt a prayer request during the Sunday service and you want the prayer for multiple Sundays please ALSO fill out a Prayer Request sheet (found on the narthex table) and place it in the "prayer requests" mail box.

Witness

Dr. Steve Oliver & Family serving in Taiwan will be at Mission Central Saturday, July 18, 2015 1:30 PM

VBS in Creston will be July 12-16. Mt. Ayr will host VBS a shortened week July 20-22 (M-W).

Volunteers still needed for VBS, both locations.

Iglesia Evangelica Luterana Amigos en Cristo is now officially a church of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod. That took place at the District Convention last month at Camp Okoboji. Pastor Vogel thanks us for all the monthly gifts given to the mission congregation.

AYR DAYS

We need volunteers to work the booth at Ayr Days, Saturday July 18th from 10:00 am to 4:00pm . 2 to 3 people are needed per 2 hour shift. There is a signup sheet on the Narthex table. See Maggie Dory if you have any questions.

Dear Friends at Trinity Lutheran,

I think of you all so often, and remember my adventurous visit to Creston, Iowa with happy memories.

Gary just informed us of your gift of support to Herb's and my ministry here. Thank you very much! As I'm sure you know, your prayers, love for mission, and support keep missionaries on the field.

You will be happy to know that we have found a great "interim" first floor locale for our little church family. It is so much more intimate and quiet than the other room; I know it is a relief to Herb to be able to talk to his flock instead of yelling at them.

We continue reaching out to the people here in Peru. So many people are thirsty for truth, but they have not spent much time with the quenching power of God's Word. We spend much of our time sharing the Bible in order for them to hear the Truth.

Again, thank you for your support. We would like to ask you to continue to hold the Lutheran Church of Peru in your prayers. The missionaries are: Herb Burch, Joshua Gale, Mark Eisold, Caitlin Worden, and their families.

With Christian love from the mission field of Peru,

Markie and Herbert Burch
