Corrections to July Calendar: On Wednesday, July 13 all boards meet at 6:30. And, on Wednesday, July 20 the church council will meet at 6:30. The 6:30 times are for the summer months.

Thank you to everyone who helped in any way to make last Sunday’s Mission Day a big success. It was such a pleasure to have Dr. Stephen Oliver with us to share his mission message. The picnic potluck turned out wonderful, too! Dr. Oliver said to thank all of Trinity’s members for the tremendous free will offering of $278.00 and for everyone’s graciousness shown to him during his short visit. He would like to return again someday. Thanks again for all your help. From the Mission Board

Youth Gathering: On Thursday, July 14, Reagan, Alex, and Joy Brown, Allison, Lauren and Sara Hadley, Devon and Troy Petersen, and Logan and James Shady will board a bus along with some other youth groups from Iowa LCMS churches to head down to New Orleans. They will attend the LCMS National Youth Gathering titled “In Christ Alone.” They will return home on July 21. We pray that God will keep them safe as they travel and guide them they attend the gathering.

Parsonage: Help is needed to spruce up the parsonage. There is a list of what needs done in each room. Please check off the items that have been completed. Contact Phil Wardenburg 641-202-1611 to set up a time that works for you. Everyone is encouraged to find a time that fits your schedule. Thanks for your help!

Ragbrai: A group of Lutheran bicyclists from Iowa will be staying overnight in our fellowship hall on Monday, July 25.

Mark Sunday, September 25 on your calendar for an afternoon of miniature golf. The Mt. Ayr members invite the Creston members to join them at 3:00 for fun and fellowship. It will be located at 2572 210th St., Afton. More details will be shared closer to that date.
