TODAY: This morning, March 19, right after the Divine Service, there will be a special voter’s meeting to determine the location of the outdoor crosses.
Calendar Events for April: If there are any meetings/events that need to be included on the April calendar, please turn them in to the office by noon on Wednesday, March 29.
Thank You: Trinity received a thank you from Matura Head Start for allowing them to use the fellowship hall for a recent event. The thank you is posted on the bulleting board in the fellowship hallway.
Lost and Found Items: On the table in the narthex, you will find a lost and found box with some winter items in it. Please see if any of them belong to you. At the end of March, leftover items will be washed up and donated to those in need.
Found: A round, silver charm was found. If you have lost one, check with Linda in the office.
Suppers for Confirmation Kids: During Lent, the board of education will sponsor suppers for the confirmation kids beginning at 5:30. If you are able to help in providing food for these meals, please check the sign-up sheet that is posted on the table in the narthex. Thanks to all who have already signed up to bring some food. There is still an opening for one more volunteer. If you have questions, contact Julie Lang.
Sunday morning Bible Class: For the next several weeks, Pastor Rutz will be leading a study on the topic of Christian prayer. All are welcome Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall.
MISSIONS
LWML Mite Box: The large mite box will be on a table in the back of the church throughout the month of March. The mites will be used to fund a variety of mission projects that are supported by the work of the LWML. We thank all who so generously support the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. And a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins (mites), which make a penny (Mark 12:42).
Spring Family Potluck and Game Night: The Mission Board invites you to a potluck and game night next Sunday, March 26 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall in Creston. We will eat first and games will follow the meal. Members of the SWCC campus ministry will be our guests. Pulled pork sandwiches, beverages and table service will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. There will be family fun and fellowship for all ages with games and PRIZES. We will have bingo, bunko, corn hole and a few other games on hand. If you have another game you like to play, please feel free to bring it along. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex, so we know how many to plan for. Thank you.
Trinity Preschool is now registering students for the 2017-2018 school year. If you know any families who have preschool age children and are looking for a preschool please tell them about Trinity. Invite them to contact the preschool teachers, Mrs. Brown or Mrs. Cook, for more information. The preschool phone number is 782-5095 Ext. 2
