LIFE TOGETHER

We welcome Hadley Jolina Brown to our family at Trinity. Hadley was baptized into Christ on October 21. She is the daughter of Clint & Kristi Brown, granddaughter of Dennis & Joy Brown, and great-granddaughter of Ellen Brown.

The Quarterly Voter’s Meeting will be TODAY, Sunday, October 30 at 1:00 in the fellowship hall. Some copies of items that will be part of the agenda for the meeting are available on the table in the narthex. Included are copies of the draft of the July 24 voter’s meeting minutes for you to review before the meeting, copies of proposed Article XIII which would include the preschool in Trinity’s bylaws, and the slate of candidates for officers and boards for 2017. Election of new officers and board members will be held at the meeting. A list of those candidates are posted on the bulletin board outside Pastor’s office.

The IDW SW Circuit Reformation Service will be held at 4:00 pm TODAY, Sunday, October 30 at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Clarinda. The guest preacher is District 2nd Vice President Paul Egger who serves as pastor of St. John, Galva. The service will be followed by a fellowship soup supper hosted by youth who are planning to attend a 2017 Higher Things Conference in Bozeman, MT. All are encouraged to join us for worship with Holy Communion and Christian fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ from all across southwest Iowa. (This information arrived in an email Oct. 5 and the starting time of 4:00 is different from what was originally reported and was printed on the blue October calendars that you received on Oct. 2. Please note the change of time.)
