It is also available for your electronic devices and in large print.

Life Together

Bridal Shower for Tessa Wardenburg and Jordan Gadbois (Dane Wardenburg's Fiancé). On Sunday, March 9th at 1:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. All church ladies are invited!

Handy Helpers quilting meet this Tuesday and the third Tuesday of every month thru April.

SMILE! and mark your calendars for April 29 - May 3. Pictures will be taken at both locations for our new directory. More information is coming soon.

Stewardship 1 Corinthians 3:7 “So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” Isn’t that the truth! And it’s not just true about preachers like Paul, but about all of us in all of the Christian life. God can do such wonderful things with our feeble efforts. This is so very true of our gifts to the Lord’s work in the Church. From His generous giving to us, we learn to give generously; and then the Lord blesses this response to His grace in turn and uses our very giving to continue to bless us in the Church where we hear of His gracious generosity to us. And the cycle repeats, and the Lord gives growth!

Church Time Survey Surveys are in. The Elder’s will be evaluating the approximately 30 responses. Thank you to all those who participated.

Mercy

February 16 – Sixth after the Epiphany – Choosing life (Deuteronomy 30:19), whether when faced with an unplanned pregnancy or with the temptation to end a life prematurely by removing treatment, does not flow from some moral or societal obligation. For the Christian, it flows from trust in God as the God of our salvation who will not forsake His saved ones. Prayer: Father, forgive our lack of trust and turning to death to rescue us from our problems. Restore in us a trust in You who revealed Your love for us through Jesus. Amen.

Mercy: The time to end abortion is now! Join the 40 Days for Life peaceful prayer vigil outside the abortion clinic in our community! From March 5 - April 13, 40 Days for Life ... a peaceful, prayerful, effective, coordinated international mobilization ... takes place in our community. We pray that, with God's help, this will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city -- and beyond. For more information talk to Pastor Watt (pastor@TrinityCreston.org) or Mike Henry (methenry@hotmail.com) or http://vigilcalendar.com/creston

Building Healthy Families: “God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are a gift from God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, and that His justice cannot sleep forever.” This quote from Thomas Jefferson is inscribed on the walls of the Jefferson Memorial in our nation’s capital. As you celebrate President’s Day thank God for the gifts of liberty and freedom. Pray also for our country and our children who are bombarded each day with anti-Christian messages.
