Easter Breakfast will be served in Creston at 8:00.

There will be no Easter Breakfast in Mt. Ayr.

During the vacancy, the deadline for announcements for Sundays will be on Wednesdays at noon. This allows us time to prepare the service and to be able to deliver the bulletins to Mt. Ayr earlier in the week.

A bridal shower for Kayla Davidson will be held on April 3 at 1:00 pm in the fellowship hall. All ladies of Trinity are invited to the shower. Kayla and fiancé Nathan Brown are registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Target.

Frieda Porter will be celebrating her 100th birthday on Wednesday, March 23. Cards may be sent to 303 West Buckeye, Creston, IA 50801.

Easter Sunday will be my last Sunday here as I am relocating back to California to help my son with his 4 year old daughter. It has been a privilege to work in the office for the last year. Linda Hadley is taking over and is doing a wonderful job in her training. She will do a great for you at Trinity. My address will be: Cindy Isdahl , 7481 Sly Park Rd. Placerville, CA 56667

Mercy

Trinity has established a Christian Care fund to help people in our communities who are in need. Our Thanksgiving offering will be used to fund this account (use your Thanksgiving envelope). You may also give to the fund at any time. Simply use one of the Christian Care Fund envelopes on the narthex table. Any member of Trinity may request a gift for anyone in need. Find forms for requests on the Narthex table.

Witness

The fundraiser that we'll be having for the Life Care Clinic is set for Saturday, April 23rd here at Trinity in the fellowship hall. Hours are 10-2 with a light lunch from 11:00 - 12:30. This will be a free will offering. A silent auction from 10-2 will consist of baked items and theme baskets, which we would encourage all of you to be a part of. Examples of some of the themes could be: garden/yard; fishing; fitness; scrapbook; camping; sewing; beauty; wine; Christian; grilling; kids; sports. The dollar amount for items to put into the baskets is $20.00-$25.00. We would encourage our members to take this back to your co-workers and get them excited about sponsoring a basket. There are many other themes that could be considered. Let's make this a really fun event with lots of baskets. Other churches will be involved too. David Paul Britton will be with us during this event to grace us with his beautiful Christian music and share the love of Jesus. Mr. Britton will be with us on Sunday, the 24th to provide music during the service as well. If there are any questions please talk to any member of the Mission Board. The monies taken in will go to the Lc Clinic general fund.

The large LWML mite box will be setting out in the back of the sanctuary the whole month of March.
