Building Healthy Families: Today marks the 10th anniversary of the tragic terrorist attacks known as 9/11. It is now called Patriot Day to remember the lives lost and families affected by this attack on the United States. It is still hard to process how something like this could have happened. When you struggle with trauma or things that happen that don’t make any sense, turn to God for support and reach out to people who can help, like the counselors at LFS. Lutheran Family Service of Iowa (515) 251-4900

Want to help but don't now what to do? Check out the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod Disaster Response web page. There you can give to any of the following: Chile Earthquake Relief; Flood Relief; Haiti Earthquake Relief; Building Homes and Hope in Haiti; Hurricane Relief; Tornado Relief; Japan Disaster Relief. http://lcms.org/disaster or call 888-930-4438 or send you check to LCMS World Relief and Human Care P.O.
