Information from the Joint Committee

The Joint Committee for the combining of Trinity Lutheran Church and First Lutheran Church send out a mailing to every member of the congregation. Additional copies of the letter are available on the narthex table. The letter provided details for you to consider as we approach a vote on November 17. Please read and prayerfully consider the proposal.

An in depth Question and Answer session is scheduled for October 6th following worship in the Fellowship Hall at Trinity. Please take the time to bring your questions to the committee.

If you have any questions about this or the work of the committee please contact Pastor Watt or any member of the committee. The committee members from Trinity are Jim Nelson, Mike Lang, Anita Wardenburg and Chuck Bowman.

Michael Redeker from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis would like to meet with you at Memorial Lutheran Church in Ames from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm or Hope Lutheran Church in Des Moines from 4:30 to 7:30 pm on Thursday, September 19th. Rev. Redeker is interested in meeting with prospective seminary students of all ages - elementary school age through adults who are already employed in another vocation. Conferences are individual, informal and family/friends are welcome. Reservations are not necessary, but strongly encouraged.
